Jamie Carragher says he is not a big fan of Liverpool No.10 Dominik Szoboszlai and would rather see West Ham’s Lucas Paqueta replace him.
Soboszlai is a key player for head coach Arne Slot because he can run and attack without hesitation and often tries to score in the frame.

This brings advice from the former ‘Reds’ vice-captain, telling the summer market to go and compete for Paqueta with Man City.
“I’ve been criticising West Ham games before, but I’ve only recently noticed how good Lucas Paqueta is. Every time he gets the ball in, whether it’s from his chest or his shoulder, I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh!'” he told Sky Bet’s ‘The Overlap Fan Debate’.
“I thought to myself, Liverpool should sign this guy.”
“I know that Man City have tried before – but in some aspects, they have weaknesses, lack of toughness, physicality. This is the point that makes the big teams say no when considering the benefits when there is no ball.”
“The reason I thought of Liverpool was because I’m not a fan of ‘Dom’ Soboszlai, but because he’s tougher than Paqueta.”
“When someone comes to Liverpool’s No. 10, his strengths are when the team doesn’t have the ball. But what I ask myself is, Soboszlai is not the kind of No. 10 who scores three goals in a game.”

Soboszlai has had to shoulder more defensive responsibility at Liverpool than he did with Hungary, scoring four goals in 30 games this season.
