Serie A side Parma have appointed Carlos Cuesta, Mikel Arteta’s assistant at Arsenal, as their new head coach.

Parma, who survived relegation last season, recently lost Romanian coach Cristian Chivu to Inter Milan, forcing them to quickly find a new manager.
Parma has decided to เล่น UFABET ผ่านมือถือ สะดวกทุกที่ ทุกเวลา appoint Carlos Cuesta, Mikel Arteta’s right-hand man, to take on the important position to lead the team into the next season.
Negotiations are now in the final stages as Parma must reach an agreement with Arsenal to bring in the 29-year-old Spaniard as their new manager.
For Carlos Cuesta, he started his career at Atletico Madrid’s academy (2014–2018), then Juventus (2018–2020) before joining Arsenal in 2020.
With Arteta succeeding Unai Emery as head coach eight months previously in December 2019, Cuesta was one of the first recruits to a now well established coaching team.
The core of the current coaching group – which also includes set-piece coach Nico Jover, Albert Stuivenberg, Inaki Cana – have been together since 2021.
This would therefore make Cuesta the first of Arteta’s assistants to leave his post voluntarily.
And his likely departure couldn’t come at a worse time, with the Gunners set for what many consider a make-or-break season for their manager, who is under mounting pressure to lift a major trophy.
The main role of the Cuesta is to be responsible for the development of each player (Individual Development Coach) and can communicate with the players in several languages including English, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, French and Catalan.
