Alfon Gonzalez has agreed to join Sevilla after his contract with Celta Vigo expires at the end of this season.

Spanish outlet Faro de Vigo reported on Friday that 25-year-old forward Alfon Gonzalez has agreed to join Sevilla after his contract with Celta Vigo expires on June 30.

Celta Vigo executives have reportedly admitted they will lose Alfon at the end of the season after the player decided to move to Sevilla, who offered him a much higher salary than he was receiving from the Vigo club, and will officially join the Andalusian side on July 1. 

According to the report, Celta officials are resign to losing Alfon. Sevilla have offer him a salary much higher that the one he currently earns at Balaidos. And because of this, it is take for grant that he can sign a pre-contract agreement with Los Nervionenses. Meaning that he will make the move upon the expiry of his current deal at the end of June.

Sevilla have been following Alfon for a while, and in recent weeks, they made their move to bring him to the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan. It appears that this has been successful, and the 25-year-old is set to join up with Francisco Javier Garcia Pimienta’s squad for the start of next season.
